Qualifications

Background in computer science. Demonstrates experience working with personal computers.  Knowledge of: computer hardware/architecture, networking software, relational databases, MS Windows, and flow of data.

Job Summary

Responsible for IS related projects such as implementation of software systems, maintaining/supporting software systems, setting up new PCs and/or servers, security issues, inventory, etc. within Nacogdoches Memorial Professional Group. 

POSITION STANDARDS: 

• Responsible for working on any IS related projects, such as on-line scheduling, e-forms, ER documentation system, etc. 
• Assure all IS file servers are kept up to date and are backed up as stated in the IS policy manual.
• Assure that any PC, printer, scanner or any software problem or question that the NMH users may  have is resolved.
• Works with the Medical staff to train whenever possible on issues that come up.  
• Responsible for making recommendations to the IS Director for any hardware or software that is needed for NMPG to keep everything up to date and running smoothly.
