Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered provides sales and business development support for one or more licensed/registered investment product sales representatives. Performs customer service and administrative tasks to answer product questions, make changes to accounts, open new accounts, and receive orders. Being a Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Registered may execute orders from existing clients. Maintains a sales and referral database and uses telemarketing and customer profiling to generate leads and additional business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.     • Provides advice and assistance to agency and vendor representatives in resolving problems and explaining highly complicated payment, non-payment, and/or partial payment actions.

    Specialized Experience Requirement:
    GS-07: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level. Specialized experience is defined as experience reviewing financial data for accuracy and completeness; recognizing and correcting inaccurate data; presenting and reporting financial data and issues to management.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
