Financial Reporting Supervisor jobs in South Dakota
Financial Reporting Supervisor supervises employees responsible for the preparation and distribution of annual and/or quarterly financial statements for external use. Ensures that all documentation complies with company regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Supervisor may serve as a liaison with external auditors. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Financial Reporting Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Job Summary
The Accountant II is responsible for performance of assigned financial reporting, general accounting, and financial audits for Avera and its Entities. The accountant works closely with their assigned Financial Reporting leader and other Accountants as necessary to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting of financial information. Focus on Workday processes, optimization, updates, testing and training for Avera and affiliated Avera facilities.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in assigned functions.
- Two plus years Workday FIN experience required.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday (primarily days with possible evening/weekend)
- 80 hours per 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $26.25 - $39.50 per hour
