Financial Reporting Supervisor supervises employees responsible for the preparation and distribution of annual and/or quarterly financial statements for external use. Ensures that all documentation complies with company regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Supervisor may serve as a liaison with external auditors. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Financial Reporting Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Full-Time Hourly
Position Summary
The FRS is responsible for collecting on charge-off accounts through effective communication and negotiation with customers through multiple contact channels, as well as obtaining and evaluating financial information for the purpose of negotiating payments for balance in full, settlement, and/or payment plan. In addition to customer interactions, this individual must perform skip-tracing activities as well as document accounts thoroughly and accurately. The FRS will be responsible for meeting defined monthly goals.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8am - 530pm (no late nights)
Professional Experience/Qualifications
- Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
- English and Spanish Speaking.
- Excellent verbal and communication skill.
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
- Multi-task while navigating multiple windows using a PC.
- Demonstrated ability to be reliable and punctual.
- Previous collections and/or sales experience is a plus.
