Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. Position Description:
The Plant Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the development of all Reporting and FP&A activities in support of our Goodyear's Texarkana plant. Included would be data analytics, data mining, financial analysis, plant production and material costs as well as overall reporting as needed using. This role is responsible for providing the financial linkage between North American Tire objectives, goals, strategies, and measures with plant operations through collaboration with operational leadership. These responsibilities include developing and maintaining the monthly plant financial forecast and plant and all operational reporting. This position is responsible for partnering with members of the Plant Leadership Team and other Manufacturing Finance Leadership teams to ensure plant and finance goals and objectives are achieved. Experience with Excel, Hyperion, or Tableau would be valuable for this role.
