Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. We’re searching for a Director of Financial Reporting to join our growing and evolving finance and accounting team. This position will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and will be responsible for compiling and generating annual and quarterly financial statements and the MD&A as well as other filings, as necessary (Offering Memorandums, Form S-1, 401k, annual proxy statement, etc.) of a SEC registrant and public company. The person filling this position will also be very involved in the monthly and quarterly close and internal and external financial reporting efforts.
