Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Financial Reporting Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Description:
    As part of the Finance & Risk Regulatory reporting function within the Commercial Banking.
    Candidates will be interested in joining this team if they want to work in an exciting area where Data meets Banking.
    The Commercial Banking data team supports CB initiatives by providing data strategy, governance and enablement in support of the CB business priorities.
    The team is required to enable and support multiple business-sponsored multi-year data initiatives and regulatory efforts, as well as provide dedicated CB data subject matter expertise to solve enterprise data issues.
    As a member of the team, you will deliver business solutions in the areas of CB Regulatory Reporting within the Commercial Lending Domain Authorized Provisioning Point (IHUB/WCDIR) as one of the firm's strategic data sources.


    Skills:
    Act as a key data subject matter expert for Financial & Risk Regulatory reporting.
    Lead the execution and delivery of data transformational and remediation activities working closely with the LOB Product team(s) - Loan Delivery, Loan Accounting, Lending Collateral, and LOB leader(s) across the Lending domain of CB and CIB
    Participate in Regulatory Data Product Backlog refinement, prioritization, pre-planning event, working with the product manager and stakeholders to define the architectural approach, capability roadmap, and high-level objectives for the roadmap.
    Simplify the E2E data supply chain (Produce => Distribute => Use) of Lending data for high priority regulatory reporting (eg: FRY 14Q, FR 2052a), while ensuring no disruption to these high priority commitments during conversion/transformation
    Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding complex companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations

    Plan and manage strategic initiatives, using solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of international business
