Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Financial Reporting Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Summary of Role:

    As the Reporting Analyst you will lead the charge in aggregating and examining data, developing insightful reports, and delivering actionable intelligence that will guide our leadership in making informed decisions. Your expertise will not only enhance our strategic planning but also improve our operational effectiveness.

    A significant part of your responsibilities will include taking the lead on compiling client-specific reports and analysis. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities within large datasets. By tailoring reports to meet the unique needs of each client, you will directly contribute to customizing our financial solutions, thereby reinforcing our commitment to client success.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Design and execute reports and dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and Excel, aiding key business decisions.
    • Work closely with diverse teams to gather data analysis requirements and deliver customized reporting solutions.
    • Maintain data accuracy and integrity through consistent data validation and cleanup efforts.
    • Educate and assist team members on data visualization techniques and report interpretation.
    • Enhance reporting procedures while adopting innovative tools and methodologies.
    • Keep abreast of industry advancements in data analytics and business intelligence, recommending and implementing best practices.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications, and skills:

    • Proficiency in SQL for sophisticated data querying and manipulation.
    • Functional expertise in Power BI for developing interactive reports and dashboards.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables, VLOOKUP and intricate formulas.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
    • Effective communication skills for presenting complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
    • A proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.

    Education and/or Experience.

    • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Business (with a strong emphasis on advanced mathematics or analytics), or a related field.
    • Previous experience in a reporting or business intelligence capacity is highly desirable.
