Type: Direct hire
Job Description: The company is seeking an individual to join the Fund Treasury’s Financial Reporting team. The Financial Reporting Analyst will work closely with other operational units to play a key role in the preparation of annual, semi-annual and quarterly financial statements for registered investment companies, as well as the monthly regulatory reporting requirements. The position provides support to senior team members and managers in connection with the preparation and review of required regulatory reporting. This role would also require the completion of various projects as assigned. This individual will be responsible for reviewing mutual funds’ and exchange traded funds’ quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements, including review of Forms N-CSR, 24f-2, N-PORT and CEN and all related financial statement disclosures and accounting matters. Additionally, this individual may be involved in the creation and review of Tailored Shareholder Reports and other fund work prepared by the accounting agent, as needed.
Position Requirements:
BA/BS degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or business-related field
3-5 years of financial reporting or audit experience
This role is for financial reporting on mutual funds and ETFs. Ideal candidates will have experience working within the asset management industry and familiar with the required regulatory reporting requirements.
Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency required
Ability to research and formulate a view
Preferred:
Public accounting experience in the asset management industry is preferred
