Qualifications –

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

5 years related experience in Real Estate Accounting

Fiscal management experience

Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, accounts receivables/payables and general ledger accounts

Experience managing various financial projects

Experience with Entrata preferred

Un jour dans la vie de (A day in the life of) –

The  Financial Reporting Accountant position includes journal entry preparation, working with the on-site property managers to provide an explanation regarding any variances, preparing fixed asset reporting, and preparing month end financial statements with analysis.

Month-end closing

General ledger accounts

Bank reconciliations

Preparing financial statements

Budget preparation and forecasting

Preparing management reports

Making recommendations for new systems and/or modifications to existing systems for better financial control
