Position Summary
The technician will perform hands-on Non-Destructive Testing and Examination (NDT / NDE) at customer sites and / or IIA business locations in support of IIA projects. The technician will perform the applicable NDT method such as Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and / or other methods based on the associated skill level; assess the integrity of the item inspected with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications; and report the results to the applicable personnel. Additionally, the technician will support other associated tasks such as job preparation, coordination, mobilization / demobilization, and reporting as directed by their supervisor.
