Country Financial, Bridget Evans Agency is a growing insurance company serving Northern Nevada and beyond. The Office Assistant/ Insurance Agent will be responsible for data entry, customer service, collecting, tracking and reviewing documentation for Property and Casualty Insurance as support to the agent as well as identify other opportunities and needs for clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Customer Service to include answering phones, greeting customers.
• Process and review insurance documentation and ensure all documents are complete.
• Take payments from customers and process through the payment system.
• Address client questions/billing questions.
• Gain in-depth and thorough understanding of property casualty insurance.
• File and maintain customer insurance files. This information is personal and confidential.
• Qualifications and Skills

Licensing: Property Casualty insurance license required

Education : High school diploma required.

Experience : Strong administrative skills and phone skills are needed. Strong computer skills are needed. Good writing skills and ability to effectively communicate to clients. Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word and the ability to learn new computer systems.

Personal requirements: Requires an individual with professional office image who has strong organizational ability who manages time and priorities well. Ability to be precise and accurate. Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Assertiveness with a tactful, direct approach is necessary. Possess the ability to exercise critical thinking, problem solving and judgment. Must work well independently and part of a team. Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times, both in and out of the workplace.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Occasional lifting up to ten lbs.
• Must be able to work in a climate controlled, office environment.
• Self-starting individual that can work in a professional and FUN atmosphere.
• Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
