Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for a small team of Budget Analysts.
• Provide oversight for the quality and timely delivery of financial products and services such as budgets, financial analysis, execution of financial transactions, research, and preparation of reports and presentations. 
• Routinely collaborate with the customer to prioritize work, remedy issues, and implement process improvements.

Travel

• This position includes a low level of travel.

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business-related field. 
• Three years related experience, with at least two years of experience in two or more of the following: budget formulation, budget execution, financial analysis, financial and accounting transactions, preparing reports by researching and gathering data. 
• Experience in applying Navy and/or Federal Financial Management Regulations, general accounting principles, and analytical and communication skills. 
• Two years of experience with business software, Navy ERP and/or SAP applications are preferred. 
• Two years of experience in word processing, spreadsheet development, financial analysis, data collection, data call preparation, report processing, brief/presentation preparation, monitor milestone schedules, and collecting funding requirements and formulating into a Budget Submission.  
• Three years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc.).

• None

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance highly desired, however candidates who are eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. If the selected candidate does not hold an active clearance, he/she will receive a contingent offer. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from various work locations on base.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently traverse stairs.
• Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
• Reaching, handling, using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
