Job Description:
We’re hiring a Mid/Senior Execution Financial Analyst in the Norfolk, VA area to support our client. The finance team currently embraces a hybrid work model of two days on-site at Naval Station Norfolk, three days remote (this is not guaranteed, but likely to continue for the foreseeable future). Due to the nature of the role, only U.S. Citizens may be considered.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in creation and tracking of Centrally Managed funding documents
- Provide data analysis for ad hoc queries
- Use automated tools to analyze and track funding documents.
- Checkbook balancing with CFMS, Daily Updates
- Track weekly changes in Requirements and Controls
- Maintain fidelity of Financial workbooks and CFMS financial records
- Prepare and Develop monthly TYCOM Brief, OCO Report and EVR Report for review
- Prepare BOY, Mid-Year and EOY reports for review
- Prepare Funding and Obligations Phasing Plan
- Provide Cognos Reports, as required
Experience:
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
- Minimum of 3-5 years of financial experience
- Knowledge of SABRS Cost Accounting and CFMS Financial Reporting
- Proficient with MS Excel and Access
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Required)
Licenses/Certifications:
- CISA, CDFM, CGFM, CIA, and/or CPA (Preferred)
