Financial Analysis Manager jobs in West Hartford, CT

Role Summary 

• Financial support for the Technology team.

• Coordinate with Technology leaders on financial matters.

• Provide financial reporting and analytics to support growth and profitability goals. 

• Collaborate with business partners in Finance, Technology, Business Management, Procurement, Accounting and Portfolio Management to manage the financial operations.

• Work across teams to complete monthly close and projection activities and communicate results to leaders.

• Understand key risks and opportunities, working with partners to deliver established financial targets.

• Support process improvement initiatives for Finance and the Enterprise.

Responsibilities 

• Perform monthly close process including analysis of paids, accruals and capitalization entries.

• Analyze contracts, track spending against deliverables and record accruals accordingly.

• Prepare monthly forecasts and quarterly projections in support of Enterprise financial calendar.

• Work closely with partners to provide timely, accurate financial information and recommendations.

• Manage project portfolio through financial reporting, forecast updates and risk/opportunity tracking.

Key Skills/Competencies

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

• 3-5 years of financial analysis experience

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Strong organizational skills

• Priority setting & problem solving are necessary
