Job Description for General Manager Role
The primary responsibility of the General Manager (GM) is to be active in the local military community and base(s) to build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. The role requires the GM to spend over 50% of their time outside the branch office building Omni’s brand presence, marketing the company and driving new loan originations. In addition, GM oversees the day-to-day operations of the branch office including loan applications, loan disbursements, customer outreach, customer service and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Be a visible leader in the community and aggressively pursue local marketing and advertising opportunities to grow Omni business in assigned area.
· Identify and establish contact with potential partners, attend community and marketing events, and be involved with business driving organizations such as Chamber of Commerce, Associates of United States Army (AUSA), American Legion and others.
· Build and nurture relationships with customers, business partners, and the community.
· Identify new opportunities to market and penetrate the local community.
· Coordinate with Marketing team to ensure implementation of effective marketing strategies and tactics.
· Monitor and report on local competitors’ activities and local market dynamics that could impact origination performance.
· Ensure delivery of the highest level of customer service by the branch staff.
· Manage and supervise one or more employees in the branch office.
· Build a strong team by recruiting training and coaching employees.
· Achieve financial objectives and operating metrics for the branch.
· Proactively provide metrics, updates, and market insights to management to demonstrate actions taken and progress made.
· Provide loan processing support when needed to assist staff with assigned lending duties such as answering phones, helping in office customers, and preparing documents.
· Conduct calls to current, past, and prospective customers to ensure contact information is up-to-date and to offer loan or other services.
· Manage branch facilities and ensure smooth and timely operations.
· Handle or assist with recruiting, hiring, training, developing, as well as discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
· Ensure the branch office and its employees are adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies / procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:

· Demonstrated ability to generate sales and develop new business.
· Ability and willingness to travel within geographic market to attend marketing events as well as to establish and maintain business partnerships.

· Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

Education and Experience:
· Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· At least three years of Management / Supervisory experience required.
· Military knowledge / military experience is highly desired.
· Experience managing staff / branch office is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Prolonged periods of travel within the local community.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
