Finance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of finance professionals. Oversees the collection and analysis of financial information for an organization. Being a Finance Supervisor monitors the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Finance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Finance Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Finance Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Special Features of being a Shop Supervisor in the Detail Department:- Manage a team of 6 detailers
- Train, hire, and discipline as needed
- Ensure department goals are met through effective supervision
- Ensure best safety practices/standards are continuously met
- Report to the Chief Operating Officer and provide data, reports, etc.
- Work with vendors to achieve vehicle quality repairs
- Work with other departments/managers as needed
Shop Supervisor Qualifications in the Detail Department:- 2 years of supervisor or management experience
- Automotive detailing or relative experience not necessary
- Ability to bend, twist, and lift 25-50 lbs.
- Full-time availability (Mon-Fri the shop starts at 7am unless subject to change)
- Effective leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Exceptional time management
- Detail oriented and organizational skills
