The Arta Insurance Team is looking for an Insurance Manager to focus on building and scaling our insurance business vertical. This is a new role at Arta and we are looking for someone excited to create and have high impact! This person will work directly with the Head of Insurance to build out our Insurance Family Office product and value proposition. This includes evolving partner strategies, managing new product launches including tech and marketing, developing GTM strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing operations, and maintaining clear and consistent reporting. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, strong communicator, and have an impeccable attention to detail. They will be able to lead and coordinate complex projects end to end. In addition, they must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

Work with our product and engineering teams so we can quickly improve our insurance product for our members
Optimize existing life insurance product for a seamless user experience and assist in launching new insurance products on the app and website
Foster long-term, collaborative relationships with insurance intermediaries and carriers - add and manage new partnerships where needed based on ability to select best of breed
Build relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders on critical insurance vertical related strategic decisions; internal stakeholders will include C-suite, Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Finance
Adapt to new and ever changing technology as we build our processes and workflows
Utilize our CRM product to manage sales cycle activity and customer feedback
Develop and implement robust data-driven action plans to improve business performance
Assess areas of opportunity, in line with overall vision and strategy of Arta and the insurance business - develop pragmatic solutions to key strategic and operational issues
Communicate progress and strategic priorities to the leadership team
Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in relevant areas of insurance
10 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, technologically oriented corporate environment
Experience working in the Insurance/Insurtech industry is a must
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
Experience in Business Operations, Management Consulting, and/or Investment Banking preferred
Experience working with data and using practical statistical analyses
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects end to end
Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills - including experience in developing compelling presentations
Obsession with creating an amazing customer experience
Passion for solving complex problems, and building scalable tech processes
Impeccable attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision

We determine your level based on factors including your interview performance, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our offers are based on salary bands that are updated periodically using market benchmarks and consider geographic location as well (for example, higher cost regions like San Francisco or New York). If you are presented with an offer, we will review the base salary, benefits, number of options, notional option value and strike price. We would like to know if you accept our offer within 7 days.
Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
