Field Superintendent - Construction jobs in Middletown, OH

Conger Construction Group, a General Contractor in Lebanon, OH, is looking for a Superintendent to join their team!

The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day safety, quality, and productivity of all team members staffed on assigned projects and ensuring that the project scheduled for completion is executed as planned.

What We're Looking for in a Candidate

• 7-10 years construction experience with a minimum of 3 years in a Superintendent role required
• Four-year college degree in related field preferred
• Excellent blueprint and specification reading ability
• Knowledge of construction engineering, specifically applicable zoning, building, electrical and mechanical codes and ordinances
• The Superintendent must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam and Primavera Suretrack, etc
• Procore experience a plus

How You'll Make an Impact

• The Superintendent will adhering to established processes for documenting and tracking essential project activities in order to assure proper planning, organization, and management of risk.
• Managing the day-to-day project activities and coordinating trades with the objective of maintaining the construction schedule to ensure on-time project completion.
• Communicating and monitoring safe work practices and environment; assists with coaching project team on safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Serving as the on-site representative for communicating project requirements, status, and changes.
• Reviews the daily construction schedule and establishes work assignments, communicates goals to the project team and coordinates daily activities by providing quality and production oversight.
• Works in conjunction with the project manager to evaluate and approve subcontractor submittals and change order tickets against construction documents and original contracts.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
