Field Service Supervisor oversees field service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair. Schedules and trains field service representatives. Being a Field Service Supervisor responsibilities also include maintaining offices and facilities including ensuring inventory is fully stocked. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Field Service Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Job Requirements:- This position will require a MINIMUM of 5 years experience in industrial maintenance and the same level of experience in a leadership role running crews.
- Must have experience in one or more of the following: steel mills, lumber mills, pipe mills, quarries, automotive, or other manufacturing facilities
- MUST have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Must be willing to work out of town for 40 hours a week.
- In short, it will be your job to effectively lead a crew(s) of employees to get assigned jobs completed in an efficient and safe manner.
- Must be able to efficiently keep track of all proper paperwork and records, keep tools and trucks maintained, and communicate with upper management effectively.
- This is a leadership role, meaning that you will be the main point of responsibility while on the job site.
