This position is integral in controlling Tosca’s returnable containers while outside Tosca’s direct control. It has an essential impact on assuring that those assets continue flowing through the perishable supply chain promptly. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering supply chain asset management excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Visit customers’ and retailers’ locations to observe container usage and condition, count containers, and interview customers.
• Maintain an audit schedule of customers.
• Complete reports and analysis on audits completed.
• Compare analysis of customers’ asset usage behaviors to observations in the field.
• Continuously strives to improve processes to minimize losses and improve recoveries.
• Contact Food Banks, retailers, and other third parties to recover assets.
• Identifies, recommends, and follows through on opportunities for supply chain improvement related to Tosca’s container assets.

Qualifications:

• Ability to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, supply chain, operations management, or logistics preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including positive communication over the phone.
• Ability to establish good rapport and interact with internal and external Tosca customers.
• High-level organizational skills with the ability to self-manage, work remotely, multi-task, and prioritize as needed in a changing work environment.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite is required, and working knowledge of relational databases is preferred.

Work Schedule

Due to the travel requirements of this role, this position will be fully remote.
