Job description
General Fire & Safety is hiring motivated people to work as fire-safety professionals in their fire extinguisher service division. We will train you how to to perform this vital fire-prevention service that is required for all business entities.
This is full time, year-round work. All work is in the Des Moines Metro area and surrounding counties with no overnight travel. We require employees be legally eligible to work in the United States and have a valid drivers license.
Responsibilities and Duties
Service of customers fire extinguishers to comply with annual requirements from the State of Iowa Fire Marshal office and NFPA fire codes. We do these services mainly at the customers place of business but we do some services in our shop as well. All training provided in house.
Qualifications and Skills
Being mechanically inclined is always helpful but we will train you in our process and the equipment we use. Past performance of dependability and versatility are good indicators of success in this position. We are looking for motivated people that want a full time career in the fire-safety industry.
