Position Summary:
The Electronic Service Technician's responsibilities include traveling to customers' locations, remotely accessing equipment, and performing routine maintenance.
The Equipment Repair Technician will install and test products and provide customers with instructions on the proper usage of the product. When not traveling, they will be receiving customer walk-in service requests and overall maintenance of equipment, working with the equipment team.
Requirements:
Ability to repair, service, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment.
Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills.
Working knowledge of digital gas & water detection equipment a plus.
Ability to work independently without much supervision.
Needs to have a driver's license pass background checks.
Ability to effectively manage time.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to lift, squat, kneel, stoop, bend, lay down, twist, climb, stand, and sit for extended periods
Must be able to assemble small parts, on delicate instrumentation
Good eyesight and color vision
Job Responsibilities:
Follow and/or set work priorities to meet time sensitive goals as scheduled and as directed by Supervisors.
Calibrating air/water quality equipment onsite at various locations, different locations the same day.
Disassemble and reassemble various air/water quality instrumentation
Travel for an average of 3-4 days a week out of town
Work closely with end users to fix issues onsite
Open line of communication with Supervisor on a daily basis
High level of customer service soft skills and customer oriented demeanor.
Qualifications:
Candidates for Equipment Repair Technician jobs need to have a High School Diploma or equivalent education level as a minimum requirement.
