Rapat Corporation in Hawley, MN is looking for a Field Service Manager to join our team!

A Field Service Manager for Rapat Corporation acts as a liaison between the Customer and internal departments while also supporting the Field Service team.

Applicant must have experience with/knowledge of:

• ERP software

• Millwrights

• Mechanics

• Electric motors

• Electric controls

• Conveyers

• Welding/fabrication

A Successful Candidate will have:

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• 5 years of related experience

• Basic knowledge of 2D, 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred)

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment

• Proficient in the use of hand & power tools, basic measuring devices, multimeters, test equipment, etc.

• Electrical or electronic control experience a plus

• 2 years in previous leadership role

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Work closely with QC, Engineering and Production to resolve any nonconformance issues

• Provide Production and Shipping schedules to the customer

• Provide installation guidance to the customer

• Field incoming customer service calls and determine corrective action as needed

• Travel to job sites for construction meetings, installation inspections & troubleshooting

• Prepare custom equipment manuals and provide product training

• Implement design changes or improvements

• Prepare reports and forms

• Complete trip reports and service call follow-up reports

• Maintain technical and product knowledge on all Rapat equipment and purchased components

Shift:

• Position is full time

• Core hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
