Field Service Manager manages field service personnel to provide effective on-site support and technical assistance with various products or equipment. Plans and oversees installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of products/equipment to ensure proper function and maximize uptime. Being a Field Service Manager oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Handles service contracts and directs support services. Additionally, Field Service Manager develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. Reviews service reports to monitor service performance and enhance customer satisfaction. Essential & Primary Job Duties
Looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years in field heavy equipment service
with Diesel and Hydraulics Experience. Candidate should have knowledge of electrical diagnostics repair and own tools.
Able to complete diagnostics, troubleshooting, and complete appropriate repairs and rebuilds on Heavy Construction Equipment for a local dealer at offsite customer locations as well as in a shop environment.
CDL not required but must have a good driving record.
Reference and interpret service, parts, and diagnostic software to determine problems/malfunctions and to verify repair specifications and parts needed.
Meets time requirement guidelines (TRG) standards. Escalate unresolved issues for further research and assistance.
Accomplish repair by following parts ordering process, completing service reports, and giving appropriate verbal or written communication in email or service reports.
