Keller is looking for an experienced Field Engineer for our Specialty Services Business Unit based out of our Santa Paula, California location.  Specialty Services is the center of expertise within Keller which provides the highly specialized, in-house designed, geotechnical construction services which are typically required on large tunnel and dam projects.  This opportunity would permit the candidate to gain extensive knowledge of grouting, working directly with Keller’s most experienced grouting engineers.

This Field Engineer position involves extensive travel, predominantly along the west coast, but also elsewhere within North America to gain real world construction engineering and management experience. This experience provides the highly qualified civil engineer an opportunity to learn first-hand the complex world of grouting in addition to the other services of Keller.  Keller is an excellent fit for a candidate who decided to become a civil engineer to work in Construction that includes a balance of design and construction management with a combination of field and office work.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering, MS preferred
• Sound technical knowledge
• Problem solving and commonsense
• Communication and teamwork
• Commercial instincts
• Get-it-done attitude
• Ability to meet hectic and changing schedules and deadlines
• Extensive travel up to three years
• Career path to office Project Manager position
