Being a Field Service Director oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Handles service contracts and directs support services. Additionally, Field Service Director develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. Reviews service reports to monitor service performance and enhance customer satisfaction. Ensures all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved, utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. · Utilize troubleshooting skills to install, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
· Collaborate with customers to provide effective service solutions for their equipment, including gas, electric, and steam systems.
· Order and install replacement parts in customer equipment, coordinating with the parts department.
· Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call duties.
