Field Service Coordinator supervises, coordinates, and monitors day-to-day operations of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment on designated sites. Provides support and guidance to service personnel who set up and operate a variety of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment. Being a Field Service Coordinator ensures operations comply with all regulatory policies and procedures. Schedules routine maintenance on equipment to ensure uptime and adequate performance. Additionally, Field Service Coordinator implements process improvements to enhance field services and meet field requirements on time and within the contracted budget. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Field Service Coordinator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Field Service Coordinator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Job Summary:
    Alliance Pump & Mechanical Service located in Independence, Missouri is searching for a service technician who has experience with rotating equipment including well pumps, well rehab, wastewater pumps and related accessories, field service, and in shop services. This Field Service Mechanic will specialize in the installation and repairs of all types of clean and dirty water pumps, well rehab, valves, gearboxes, other mechanical equipment, and the control panels to operate the pumps.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Perform maintenance on all types of centrifugal clean water and dirty water pumps.
    • Install vertical turbine pumps.
    • Perform well rehab operations.
    • Repair of all types of gearboxes and other mechanical equipment.
    • Working on customers' sites rehabbing and installing pumps and pump-related equipment.
    • Repair of electrical systems, mainly control panels and variable frequency drives.
    • Maintain records of service and repairs.
    • Welding and fabricating parts and modifying if needed.
    • Work in confined spaces.
    • Follow company safety procedures.
    • Some overtime or after-hours may be required.
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
    • This is a physically demanding job and occasionally will require working in sometimes extreme weather conditions.
    • Occasionally a job may require an overnight stay.
    • Travel within a 100-150-mile radius of our shop.

    Desired Skills: 
    • Mechanical aptitude a must!
    • Knowledge of single-phase and 3-phase electrical service.
    • Associated electrical experience in a field environment.
    • Proven Field Service experience.
    • Experience rehab of wells
    • Ability to weld.
    • Knowledge of testing equipment and proper use of such equipment.
    • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment.
    • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
    • Technical degree or certification ideal.
    • CDL license and/or willingness to obtain CDL license for operation of field service trucks.
    • Ability to adapt to changing work schedules.
