Field Service Coordinator supervises, coordinates, and monitors day-to-day operations of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment on designated sites. Provides support and guidance to service personnel who set up and operate a variety of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment. Being a Field Service Coordinator ensures operations comply with all regulatory policies and procedures. Schedules routine maintenance on equipment to ensure uptime and adequate performance. Additionally, Field Service Coordinator implements process improvements to enhance field services and meet field requirements on time and within the contracted budget. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Field Service Coordinator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Field Service Coordinator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. How will you make an impact?
The Field Service Planning Coordinator is a key team member and contributor to the centralized field support functions of EMS by helping manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficient operations. This role is also critical by providing support services to our field technicians and collaborating directly with our customers. The basic functions are to learn the fundamentals of our business and assist in both financial and service functions. This includes tasks such as quoting services, inventory control, and being a customer advocate. The role has flexibility based on applicant skill set. Our Field Service Planning Coordinator is critical to EMS’s strategic plan to exceed client expectations by having the intuitive skills to assist where needed. This role initially will be ever-changing with the goal to assess the individual’s business acumen, strengths, and skills and designate a role specific position.
