Field Service Coordinator supervises, coordinates, and monitors day-to-day operations of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment on designated sites. Provides support and guidance to service personnel who set up and operate a variety of oil, gas, or mining machines and equipment. Being a Field Service Coordinator ensures operations comply with all regulatory policies and procedures. Schedules routine maintenance on equipment to ensure uptime and adequate performance. Additionally, Field Service Coordinator implements process improvements to enhance field services and meet field requirements on time and within the contracted budget. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Field Service Coordinator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Field Service Coordinator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. What You'll Do Job Summary: The Projects Field Coordinator will support the organization by coordinating with the Project Engineers, Operations, Maintenance, HSSE and Contractors for field supports, contractors supervision, projects cost estimates, execution schedule forecast/updates, budget and construction cost estimating and projects constructability reviews, among other responsibilities. This position is located in Hackberry, LA. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required. Employees’ primary residence must be located within a one-hour drive from the Hackberry plant site. This measure will assure that response time for callouts is kept to a minimum, which increases the safety of our employees in an unexpected or emergent situation. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Main duty includes field supervision of all contractors, this will include working on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays on a regular basis as projects demand. Assist contractors on a daily basis to obtain permit as well as closing permit at the end of the workday. Assist project engineers by providing field supports and resolve construction issues. Assist project engineers by coordinating material receipt to warehouse and delivery to job site for execution. Provide total cost estimates at every phase/gate of capital projects (CPMM: a gated delivery methodology) by reviewing scopes and in coordination with project engineers and other relevant stakeholders as well as conducting site walkdown. Provide Bill of Material (BOM) for the assigned scopes for better projects estimate. Coordinate with contractors/vendors to obtain quotes (preliminary and final) for total projects estimate (TIC). Conduct safety walkdown during projects execution to ensure adherence to safety on all capital projects. Participate in the pre-qualification of contractors and sub-contractors before any request for bids and provide input in the monitoring of contractors and sub-contractors performance. Review contractors RFP before submission to ensure construction components are well defined. Review contractors RFP after submission for overall scoring from constructability viewpoint. Conduct site walkdown during project execution to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Represent project engineers on daily SIMOPS meeting. Escort non-TWIC holders to the terminal/job site. Coordinate with relevant department and project engineers and conduct PSSR upon projects completion. Provide construction progress reports to project engineers and Projects Control Specialist on a regular basis. Attend contractors daily JSA and joint safety walk prior to work commencement or permit issuance Attend constructability and model reviews to provide input from construction viewpoint. Monitor project activities which includes execution methodology to be used, reporting requirements, economic analysis, cost controls, and schedules for the projects assigned. In coordination with project engineers, monitors construction contractors work for compliance of applicable codes and specifications, accepted construction practices, and Cameron LNG requirements. Assists with procedures development and update, tools and protocols for efficient and effective execution of projects. Participate in a multi-discipline team of professionals that provide Company support, monitoring, reporting related to the projects. To ensure business continuity, it will also be required from time to time to produce reporting and documentation related to MOC and ESR systems as well as other reporting requirements for Management presentations. Ideal Background Education: Qualification/certificate in Engineering, Construction, Safety or other related field are favorable although not essential. Other qualifications/certifications may be looked upon favorably on a case by case basis. Experience: Candidate must have construction field experience in all areas of small to medium sized construction projects. Requires ten (10) years’ experience in the energy industry. Background in total project cost estimating is favorable. This position requires ability to price a construction job based on a limited engineering scope available. Familiarity with ASPEN In-Plant Cost Estimator is a bonus; training can be provided. Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities: Ability to organize, plan, control, coordinate, and effectively manage multiple simultaneous assignments. Ability to control projects in order to achieve time, budget and quality metrics. Computer skills including, SAP, MS Office Suite, Power Bi. Experience with Project Controls Systems for integration of cost and schedule with software program such as MS Project and other auxiliary cost and scheduling tools. Knowledge of construction best practices to aide in planning and scheduling. Knowledge in Contracts Administration and Procurement. Analytical and problem-solving skills Able to analyze data, identify issues, recommend, develop, and propose solutions. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate fluently in English. Organized and able to manage multiple activities timely and with a high degree of accuracy. Self-starter with ability to work strategically with minimal direction. Driven to meet and exceed performance parameters. Strong attention to details. Demonstrates high ethical standards for honesty, truthfulness, and integrity. Ability to interface with a culturally diverse range of personnel with varying disciplines, backgrounds, and experience levels. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, climb, run, sit, kneel, twist, bend, pull, push, carry, lift, reach overhead and drive. Most activities involve movement of either the upper and lower body extremities or both and the joints associated with these areas of the body. Must be able to enter confined spaces. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders that ranges from 4 ft to 200 ft. Must be able to lift equipment needed to perform work. Must be able to wear safety equipment such as safety harness, respirator and other protective equipment as needed to perform job. Must be able to climb stairs and/or walk on uneven surfaces. Must be able to sit at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods of time. Must be willing to be on call, work outside of normal business hours as required and handle emergency response responsibilities.
