As a service coordinator your impact is two-fold:
- For the customer, your goal is to organize and communicate lead times and delivery dates to customers.
- For the team, your goal is to manage and schedule production orders for fabrication and repairs, and expedite components as needed to meet delivery needs.

This is a long-term, career-growth oriented position, and as such, the compensation package we’re offering is competitive: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour (based on 2 – 3 years’ experience) to start and includes opportunities for you to quickly maximize your earning potential through training, experience, our ESOP, bonuses, and professional development programs.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Distribute new orders to the service administrator and ensure they’re entered and confirmed in a timely manner.
- Create a daily production schedule for fabrication and repairs.
- Proactively communicate lead time and delivery dates to customers and the JHF sales team.
- Respond to customer concerns and inquiries regarding all manufactured items.
- Initiate parts expediting measures when necessary; search for competitive parts quotes from other distributors.
- Determine method of shipment for incoming components if expedited is required.
- Collaborate with Hydraulic Manager and Hydraulic Specialist team to respond to outside sales concerns.
- Allocate freight and supplies expenses to all hydraulic production orders.
- Manage unused non-stock items and ensure their cost and disposition are accounted for appropriately.
- Participate in MDI documentation and problem-solving activities.
- Order shop supplies and tools as needed.
- Ensure all produced assemblies are appropriately prepared, skidded, and secured for shipment.
- Determine mode of delivery for all produced assembles based on customer requests and needs.
- Participate in production meetings as needed to communicate and collaborate with other production departments.
- Close out Hydraulic production orders and communicate costs and margin to JHF sales team.
- Maintain master BOM records as needed to ensure accurate repeatability of produced items.
- Prioritize production order picking for JHF warehouse team.
- Create manual, serial tags, and shipping/informational tags.
- Store checklists per ISO procedures.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of general office or administrative procedures.
- Familiarity with fluid power preferred, but not required. We train!
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and solutions.
- Excellent planning and communication skills.
- Team player who is collaborative and can develop solid working relationships with others.
- Ability to forecast workload and organize a production schedule in a fast-paced environment.
