Description

The field operator will oversee the entire production process and ensure that the production process runs safely and produces quality products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation of crude oil pretreat process equipment.
• Loading and unloading of trucks and rail cars
• Strict adherence to environmental, emergency and health & safety plans
• Strict adherence to proscribed maintenance schedule
• Site security
• Housekeeping of site
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Miscellaneous duties as requested by Supervisors.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies.
• Start motors and engage machinery
• Log and record detailed accounts of plant conditions and issues.
• Be observant and detail oriented.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:  

• Background in plant process operations
• Background in reading PFD’s and P&ID’s
• Capable of heavy lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, standing for long periods      of time, Working in adverse weather conditions.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have good multitasking ability.

Working Conditions:

• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers required to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and able to handle other computer components
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
