Safety Professional
The Safety Professional will be responsible for providing quality training for each of the offered courses at both on & off-site locations. This position will report to the Director of Operations & Business Development and is expected to administer courses at the highest quality and professionalism possible.
This position will specialize in the Crane & Rigging Industry.
- Communicate with Director of Operations for all aspects of operations
- Administer training to the highest level of quality and professionalism possible
- Develop or assist in the development of training materials
- Participate in training and service meetings as directed by immediate supervisor and/or Director of Operations
- Prepare & collect materials for executed training (all deliverables: sign in sheets, candidate photos, evaluations, applications if applicable etc.)
- Ensure professional delivery with client communications, interactions and trainings
- Meet with current and potential clients, forming relationships to assist with bringing in new clientele
- Build customer relationships in a professional manner through solution-oriented communications and service
- Maintain commitments and calendars to ensure fluid scheduling process
- Respond to emails & phone calls in a timely manner
- Ensure timely execution of work is completed
- Perform client site crane inspections
- Inspect structural components, operating mechanisms, control systems, braking systems, electrical equipment, safety devices, any other necessary components
- Properly prepare and submit Inspection Reports in the appropriate time frame
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures in order to maintain safe work habits at all times
- Available to work full time on site for clients
Safety Professional must have the following skills/requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to work under a variety of environmental conditions including wet, dry, hot and cold
- Some knowledge of all applicable OSHA and ASME standards
- Recognizing and understanding the differences between deficiencies & safety hazards
- Able to wear company furnished PPE as designated by company and customer safety policy
- Ability to have basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and ability to learn inspection software.
- Able to travel to and from customer sites via any approved method of transportation as needed

Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
