A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

In this Project Manager position, you are critical to our company's success as you strategically develop plans and objectives and coordinate schedules to ensure we meet our mission. You will serve as the point person on projects from initial construction planning to completion leading the team of construction professionals and customer representatives along the path to a successfully completed project. Your focus will be on longer range planning, constructability, and budget management.

In addition to leading your construction team through the project, you use your keen communication skills to provide top-notch customer service and build a long-lasting relationship with them. You are great at recognizing clients' needs and seeking to satisfy them within the scope of the contract. Holding regular meetings helps you keep them informed of progress, managing issues, and coordinating the team on the way to reaching the desired objectives. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in either engineering or construction management OR equivalent industry experience

• Experience in construction, preferably serving as a project manager with experience in overseeing, constructing, modifying, and erecting civil, mechanical, or steel structures in an industrial setting

• Demonstrated success in project execution using computerized and manual project management control, scheduling, and planning systems
n
• Efficiency using Microsoft Office products and computer-based maintenance systems
