American Engineering Testing is Now Hiring for a Construction Materials Field Technician for our Sioux Falls, SD office. American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET) specializes in geotechnical and pavement engineering, environmental consulting, building technology consulting, construction materials design and testing, and petrographic/chemical analysis. The field technician performs and documents field testing of concrete, soils, asphalt, aggregate, or masonry products as well as excavation observations in the Dickinson area. In addition, in-house laboratory testing such as gradations, proctors, and concrete compression tests are commonly performed by our field technicians. We expect our field technicians to be able to report their results to the on-site contact as well communicate updates to the AET project manager. Candidates should enjoy working outdoors in varied weather conditions and have a comfort level with equipment maintenance. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • HS diploma or equivalent required. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required (CDL preferred but not required). • A background in soil science, geology, or earth science is preferred, but we will train.
