We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Superintendent to oversee and manage Highway construction projects. As a Field Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
- Stay onsite to oversee quality control and adherence to safety protocols
- Oversee the training of construction personnel
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and maintain project schedules
- Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Implement and enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols on job sites
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in the Highway construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
