Field Auditor, Sr. travels to assigned vendor sites in order to audit inventory levels and policy compliance. Reviews store security and cash handling procedures and loss prevention data to ensure compliance to policy and identify any issues. Being a Field Auditor, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Field Auditor, Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Internal Audit, the incumbent will conduct reviews (financial, operational, and compliance) and engage in creating process efficiencies through the successful execution of engagements. Assist in risk assessments, develop audit objectives and procedures to address risks, execute the audit program, and document procedures and results to support conclusions. Engage in various special projects focused on data manipulation and analysis supporting all areas of the organization. Develop practical recommendations to address opportunities and control deficiencies, prepare reports for senior management that communicate the results and recommendations, and provide advice and counsel to management regarding areas of expertise.
