Fast Food Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising food preparation and restaurant operations during assigned shifts. Schedules employees based on anticipated staffing needs, and ensures workers are trained in proper food handling practices, safety, and cash handling procedures. Being a Fast Food Shift Supervisor addresses customer complaints and prepares documentation for cash and inventory reporting. Assists team members during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency. Additionally, Fast Food Shift Supervisor may be responsible for restaurant opening and/or closing. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.
