Fast Food Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising food preparation and restaurant operations during assigned shifts. Schedules employees based on anticipated staffing needs, and ensures workers are trained in proper food handling practices, safety, and cash handling procedures. Being a Fast Food Shift Supervisor addresses customer complaints and prepares documentation for cash and inventory reporting. Assists team members during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency. Additionally, Fast Food Shift Supervisor may be responsible for restaurant opening and/or closing. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. The Team Leader runs shifts, leads Team Members, and supports the restaurant management team. It is the entry-level management position reporting to the Restaurant General Manager. The Team Leaders share accountability with the RGM and Assistant Restaurant General Manager for all restaurant operations, focusing on satisfying customers, developing people, and growing sales and profit. The Team Leader recognizes, motivates, and coaches Team Members.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Is cross-trained and has mastered all restaurant positions
• Role models Customer Mania and actively coaches and supports Team Members to deliver 100% CHAMPS (Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product, Speed) with a Yes!
• Responds to customer concerns using LAST (Listen, Apologize, Satisfy, Thank)
• Helps restaurant meet Balanced Scorecard goals and Champs Excellence Review standards
• Controls Profit & Loss results by managing food and paper, labor, and semi-variable costs
• Learns to forecast sales, create schedules, order and track inventory, and complete weekly and period paperwork.
• Opens and closes restaurant, runs shifts, and completes daily paperwork.
• Ensures cash control, security, safety, and food quality standards aremet.

• Selects and trains Team Members

• Has valid driver’s license and auto insurance
