This leadership position is responsible for assisting in the smooth functioning of service for The Dining Room, The Terrace, The Lounge, The Bar, The Wine Room and Pool performing the following duties according to standards of procedure: Guides a team of skilled line level food and beverage team members, leading the dining staff in the efficient delivery of providing the highest standards of service to our guests. Encourages staff growth and development. Works cohesively with food and beverage managers and chefs to ensure a seamless guest experience. Works effectively in a quality assurance environment that embraces input to formulate the positioning, systems development and standards of the restaurant. Exhibits a passion for excellence. This position requires a high school diploma or a GED and three (3) years of previous work experience in a similar role in a luxury world-class hotel; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a restaurant manager in fine dining.
This individual must have familiarity with restaurant management software, such as OpenTable and Micros. Good math skills are required, including being able to compute rates and percentages. Must have effective oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and guest relations skills, attention to detail, and well-rounded management and operational troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques. Must have flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
