Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. Proficiency in taking and documenting field measurements on the shop floor
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
Experience with general arrangement drawings of industrial plant layouts and capital equipment design and drafting
Experience creating drawings from field measurements
Project management experience
Job Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of a Lead Engineer to support installation and start-up of large, complex industrial process equipment
Take field measurements and create equipment drawings to accurately document existing systems
Make changes to red-lined mechanical and electrical (schematics) drawings using AutoCAD (2D)
Assist the Lead Engineer with various engineering and project management tasks
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
