Fashion Designer is responsible for executing the fashion design strategy for an organization. Creates and manages multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product and ensures projects are aligned with the brand's identity. Being a Fashion Designer presents design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders. Effectively communicates design details to the product development and production teams. Additionally, Fashion Designer determines final style, material, and color based on input from sales/marketing, merchandising, development, and manufacturing teams. Ensures fashion designs meet high-quality standards and adhere to approved guidelines. Keeps abreast of consumer needs and trends. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in apparel/fashion design or related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Fashion Designer work is closely managed. Primary Focus
Create innovative and trendy designs that meet the needs of our customers, align with merchant plans, and hit key price points
Research trends – shop stores, magazines, trend services, attend major customer trend meetings
Prepare Global trend inspiration boards, colors, material charts
Work with customers as requested to discuss new product concepts and upcoming season
Initiate development for assigned groups to meet market and customer product needs
Design groups to meet key price points and assortment plans
Review final vendor samples to approve product execution and perceived value
Provide instruction and guidance to sample makers offering suggestions on how to execute design
Participate in the development of procedures and systems needed to keep design area running efficiently
What you need to Succeed!
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Textiles, Merchandising, Fashion Design or related field
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience of jewelry design
Knowledge of jewelry categories presented to each account
Strong time management and prioritization skills required as well as the ability to change focus, based on customer demands
Skill in arranging jewelry into groups or categories according to established criteria
Ability to monitor fashion trends and translate to saleable groups to meet customer needs
Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction
Skill in working as part of a team; collaborating with coworkers
Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Creative Cloud; PC platform
Knowledge of 3D Rhino a Plus
Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines when necessary

Junior to Mid to Senior level experience will be considered for this opportunity! And compensation will be based on experience accordingly.
