Job description
Meadows Farm Equipment is looking for a Mechanic who can diagnose and repair outdoor power equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issues and develop a cost-effective solution for each customer. The ideal applicant will have exceptional time management skills and be a self-starter that has the ability to take ownership of a project.
Job Duties:
Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on small engine agricultural and turf equipment and a variety of other outdoor power equipment products.
Maintains current knowledge of Husqvarna and Competitive products.
Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
1 years of experience performing service repairs a plus
Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
Ability to use basic computer functions (looking up parts, entering customers names, etc)
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
