SUMMARY
The Peer Counselor / Family Support Partner provides peer support services to clients under the supervision of the Program Manager. These services include assistance with stabilization, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and the development of community living skills.
Who you'll be working with:
The Child, Youth & Family Crisis Team (CYFCT) is a community-based outreach team with the ability to respond to and provide crisis services in the community (e.g., homes, schools, shelters). The Team serves children, youth, adolescents, and their caregivers who are experiencing a behavioral health (mental health and/or substance use) crisis regardless of their funding source. CYFCT offers short term crisis intervention and prevention services utilizing strength-based, solution-focused, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented interventions.
