Description
Southwest Youth and Family Services is seeking an experienced Counselor to join our counseling team. The ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative team who provides culturally relevant, high quality services within a community based behavioral health agency. This person must have experience providing strengths based services to Black/African American youth and their families.
The Counselor is responsible for assessing the needs of clients and providing individual counseling, support groups, and referral services to youth and their families. 75% of our client population are enrolled Medicaid.
This position is full time, 36 hours per week (non-exempt position), with compensation being $25 hourly . Benefits include employer paid medical, dental, vision, disability, short term and long term disability insurance; and life insurance.
