Facility Maintenance Technician jobs in Roseville, CA

Position Summary:

Perform maintenance and repair tasks on commercial buildings and facilities under the direction of the Field Tech Supervisor and Facilities Services Manager.

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and vendors.
• General exterior building repairs and maintenance including:  minor roof repairs and cleaning; exterior painting and caulking; minor repairs of plaster, drywall, wood siding and trim; power washing and cleaning.
• General interior building repairs and maintenance including: demolition, drywall, paint, flooring, acoustical ceilings, doors and hardware, carpentry, cleaning, etc.
• Minor plumbing including: installation/replacement of plumbing fixtures and appliances; minor leak repairs; clear drain lines, etc.
• Minor electrical including: bulb/lamp replacements, ballast replacements, identifying and troubleshooting power issues, etc.
• Minor HVAC including: inspection, cleaning and maintenance of package units and Zonelines; minor repairs of condensate drains, gas and electrical; coordination with third party HVAC repair vendors.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of construction trade practices (experience in the trades preferred).
• 5 years of experience in commercial facility maintenance.
• General knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA 10 hr training is preferred).
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain professionalism in actions and appearance.
• Ability to photograph and complete documentation for work orders.
• Certifications and/or licenses for HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing is preferred.
