We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our growing team. If you're an enthusiastic self-starter, Barnhart is a perfect place to get ahead.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Reports to Facilities Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining various electrical, mechanical, building, and facility systems.
- Monitor equipment maintenance program & complete required PM’s.
- Perform various small construction projects.
- Monitor waste collection sites & schedule removal with vendors.
- Point of contact for various system monitoring. (Fire, burglar, gate access.)
- Point of contact for contracted vendor site visits.
- Familiarity with various system to troubleshoot. (Wash Bay equipment, Sprinkler System, gate operation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Operate various equipment to perform or support a task: Forklift, Manlift, Road Sweeper, Bush Hog, etc.
- Fieldwork requests from various departments and prioritize lists to complete tasks.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Character traits: Trust, encourage, servant leader, multi-task, work well under pressure, mindset aligned with company values.
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Must have mechanical understanding of facilities equipment and maintenance.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Basic electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance equipment operator.
- Must be well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented.
- Solid procurement and negotiation skills.
- Must pass drug test, fit for duty, and background check.
