FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems. Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Being a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion. Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects. Additionally, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Supervisor for Facilities for Benedictine Nursing Center at Mount Angel, OR (Full-time, DAY shift)

    Provides leadership and supervision required to coordinate and execute the daily functions and activities of the departments, assists in developing and maintaining departmental objectives and quality standards. Is directly responsible for fire and life safety programs on the campus and initiating department response to emergency events. Directly oversees the operations of Plant, Laundry, and Housekeeping. Works jointly with the Administrator to define goals and plan objectives.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent educ/experience.

    • In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position upon hire.

    • 5 years of Maintenance or EVS experience, preferably in health care setting.

    • 1 year experienced in use of computers and software applications including databases, spreadsheets and maintenance management programs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

    • 1 year of Management experience.
