FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems. Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Being a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion. Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects. Additionally, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary
Summary: As a Facilities Supervisor, you will support the Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Coordinator in providing excellent customer service in the management of facilities for our clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring excellent service to on-site clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises Janitorial staff and oversees subcontractor services to include mail operations, shipping & receiving, ground & landscaping.
- Specialty aseptic cleaning and glass washing.
- Communicates between various shifts to ensure applicable completion of tasks.
- Manages all moves, additions, and changes.
- Mail, shipping, and receiving as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of facilities maintenance, support services, military, and/or housekeeping experience.
- Experience with soft services to include janitorial experience.
- Experience managing invoices and pricing.
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
