Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     POSITION DETAILS

    Position Summary

    As a Planner at CIRCOR, you will play a pivotal role in production planning activities, ensuring seamless coordination of jobs and material flow to meet demand and fulfill manufacturing objectives. This position involves developing and maintaining production schedules, utilizing MRP systems for work order management, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to achieve production targets. Additionally, you will drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance work order on-time delivery performance.

    Principal Activities

    • Manage the Master plan, setting up weekly production plan based on material visibility, production capacity, and targets established for the assigned lines
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet weekly production plans and turnaround objectives
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet weekly production plans and turnaround time objectives
    • Lead efforts to reduce past-due items by coordinating with Materials and Operations teams
    • Identify and escalate high-impact issues affecting production plans to management for resolution
    • Strategically manage Inventory levels for Key Accounts customer parts for the assigned lines
    • Serve as a factory subject matter expert (SME) for ERP production planning and scheduling modules
    • Identify and resolve constraints impacting production plans, including Capacity, Resources & Material
    • Analyze and report key performance indicators such as delivery performance (Work Order OTD), past due, Turnaround time
    • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes to enhance efficiency.
    • Perform any other duties as directed and required.

    Job Requirements:

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • 1-3 years of experience in a planning function in Aerospace or a Master’s Business Degree in Supply Chain Management
    • Proficiency in MRP systems and Lean Manufacturing concepts
    • Strong Analytical skills for trend analysis, root cause identification, and report generation
    • Effective problem solver with a systemic, data-driven approach
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

    Education

    • APICS CPIM (Certification in Planning and Inventory Management) preferred.
    • Master’s degree in business specializing in Supply Chain Management preferred.

    PAY RANGE: $68k - $78k. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
